Kiteboards fall into three main types: twintips, surfboards and foil boards.

Twintip kiteboards are the most popular choice for kitesurfing. They may look like wakeboards, but they are designed specifically for kite power, speed and control in choppy water.

Kite surfboards are based on surf shapes but are built stronger and tuned for riding with a kite. They suit wave riding and directional kitesurfing.

Foil boards are designed to be ridden with a hydrofoil. They offer early lift, smooth ride and excellent light-wind performance.
