A surfskate is a skateboard with a special front truck that lets the board pivot, carve and pump like a surfboard — so you can practise your turns, timing and flow on flat days, or just enjoy cruising with a surf feel.

• Carver C7 — the original surf truck: smooth, drawn-out carves and effortless pumping.
• Carver CX — hybrid surf/skate truck: snappier and more stable at speed.
• Carver C5 — lower, lighter and poppier, great for smaller riders.

As a rough guide, 28–30" boards feel quick and loose, 31–33" is the all-round sweet spot, and 34"+ gives a longer, smoother longboard-style carve.
