The Power Carbon FATTY mast is AXIS's reinforced carbon mast — a thicker chord profile that adds stiffness and load capacity over the standard Power Carbon line. For heavier riders, downwind sessions on bigger front wings, or any setup where flex feels like it's robbing you of performance, the FATTY is the upgrade.

The trade-off for the extra stiffness is slightly more drag than the standard Power Carbon — but for the riders who need it (heavier weight, larger wings, downwind work), the FATTY locks in a foil setup in a way the standard mast can't match.

Heavier wing foilers (90kg+) wanting a stiffer mast. Downwind riders running larger Fireball or PNG front wings. Anyone whose current setup feels "noodly" at speed or under load.

Honest advice from us

If you're under 80kg and ride a moderate front wing in normal wing-foiling conditions, the standard Power Carbon mast is probably the better choice — lighter, less drag, plenty stiff enough.
