Description
A slightly shorter version of our classic Resin, this nimble model is a little snappier and easier to pump for smaller riders looking for their go-to surfskate. A proven favourite that’s just the right length so you can pump it with ease and still drop in on any hill with confidence, this is the standard by which all others are measured.
RESIN SERIES - RYAN MARTZGrowing up, Ryan Martz was surrounded by a steady stream of the most skilled glassers on the coast, so it’s no wonder that he is now one of the most sought after resin artists in the world. Ryan’s dad Greg Martz started the Waterman’s Guild in 1983 to create the best glass shop in Southern California, where Ryan learned his trade. “Growing up under my dad, he was a perfectionist, so he drove that quality is always the bottom line here, and that’s been present since day one.” Paying his dues and working up the ranks, Ryan has developed his own signature style of resin work, each a one-of-a-kind painting made in flowing pigments that recall the movement of water or fire, frozen in time. Returning for his third resin series for Carver, Ryan made these custom designs the old school way, with pigmented resin on fibreglass for a true surf/skate graphic.
This is the CX complete: deck, trucks, wheels and bearings fully assembled and ready to ride out of the box.

CX trucks explained
CX trucks — Carver's hybrid surf/skate truck. A lightweight reverse-kingpin design with Carver's patented geometry, so it still pumps and carves like a surfskate, but feels tighter and more stable at speed, landing airs and riding fakie. Expect snappier rail-to-rail response — a great choice if you also like parks, bowls and faster riding.

About Carver
Carver was born in Venice Beach, California in 1996, when surfers Neil Carver and Greg Falk got tired of waiting for waves and built a skateboard truck that could carve, pump and snap like a surfboard. Thirty years on, Carver surfskates are ridden by surfers of every level around the world to keep their surfing sharp on flat days.
