THE WORLDS MOST VERSATILE CHANGING ROBE

Get active outdoors with dryrobe®. Designed to let you get changed anywhere, the dryrobe® Advance protects you from the elements, keeping you warm and dry in any climate.

So much more than your standard towel robe, the dryrobe® Advance combines a weather-resistant outer with a super-warm inner lining that gets you dry quickly. Made with 100% recycled fabrics.

Not your average fit, the dryrobe® Advance change robe is large and loose enough to pull your arms inside and get changed, but versatile enough to be worn as a coat or jacket.

SUSTAINABILITY

dryrobe® are dedicated to doing everything possible to help create a sustainable future by making a positive difference and leaving a lighter footprint. The outdoors is our playground and we have a responsibility to care for the environment that we all love and depend on.

Proud to be a Certified B Corporation™. For dryrobe® this is an exciting step in their sustainability journey, being B Corp Certified means that their business practices are recognised for promoting positive environmental and social change.

MORE FROM dryrobe®

We’re carbon neutral

At dryrobe® we are very much aware that our manufacturing process (as well as shipping and selling products online) releases greenhouse gas emissions and as a result, we are contributing to global climate change. We are doing our best to limit our impact and take climate action.

We are working closely with One Carbon World to offset any unavoidable emissions that still cannot be reduced. Through carbon offsetting, we are supporting La Pitanga /Weyerhaeuser – a reforestation project in South America. This project lasts for 100 years, covers 18,000 hectares, and is verified by the Rainforest Alliance. The project is also certified by the FSC (which ensures fair wages).

Buying less, buying better

Sustainability has been at our core since the first dryrobe® was sold over a decade ago. Overconsumption is placing a huge amount of pressure on our planet’s resources and we want to encourage our customers to not buy more than they need. That’s why every product that we produce has been built to last for years and years.

By buying better, we want to help our customers think and live sustainably.

Plastic-free packaging

We have introduced plastic-free deliveries from our website. The packaging for our products is now made out of recycled cardboard and is entirely plastic-free on all UK e-commerce orders. This ensures that no virgin trees are being cut down for our packaging and is also responsibly sourced.

Trusted supply chain

At dryrobe® we believe that collaboration and transparency with our suppliers is crucial to make real and lasting changes, which is why we choose to work with trusted suppliers who we’ve built positive relationships with.

Our suppliers are based in China and Turkey and we work closely with them to ensure fair labour practices and safe working conditions throughout the supply chain. All of our supplier factories maintain SMETA approval or are BSCI audited. Additionally, both of our factories in China have achieved ISO14001 certification.

Eco-friendly finishing

We use PFC-free BIONIC-FINISH ECO Durable Water-Repellent (DWR) finishing on all our waterproof products. This plant-based solution doesn't contain any harmful compounds, delivering high-performance weather resistance and reducing the impact on the environment.

Recycled fabrics

All our weatherproof garments and accessories are made with 100% recycled nylon, approved by Global Recycle Standard. This breathable, weatherproof shell fabric is made with pre-consumer recycled nylon that would otherwise be destined for landfill - such as old fishing nets, tights and nylon carpets.

The super warm, fast-drying synthetic lambswool used in our products is made from 100% recycled polyester (rPET), approved by the Global Recycle Standard and certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100. This high-performance fleece is made from recycled post-consumer plastic, a large part of which comes from plastic bottles.

Organic cotton

We only use 100% organic cotton for our Towel dryrobe® range, certified by The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. This helps us to ensure that our organic cotton is sourced in the most ethical and sustainable way.

Community projects

Giving back to our local community and donating to charity has always been important to us. In 2021, we founded the dryrobe® Warmth Project supporting charities and non-profit organisations that share our values of protecting the environment and promoting wellbeing through outdoor activity. We’re proud to work with some incredible charities including Surfers Against Sewage, The Wave Project, 2 Minute Foundation, Surfers Not Street Children, Seaful and A Walk On Water.

Accountability

Earlier this year we produced our first annual ‘Sustainability and Social Impact’ report. This report looks back at what we have achieved so far and what our plans are for the year ahead and beyond. As a business, we have the responsibility to be transparent and open with what we are doing and we look forward to using these reports to document the progress of our sustainability journey.

We’re not finished yet

Becoming a Certified B Corporation is a huge milestone on our sustainability journey. However, we are not done yet and as a business we have a responsibility to continue to help transform the economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. Through B Lab, we must recertify every three years and the goal is to keep building our score each time through making company-wide changes and implementing new practices.

Sustainability is a continual journey and we are proud to be able to continue to grow our business in a way which also benefits people and our planet.
