The Power Carbon family is AXIS's main carbon mast line — the workhorse mast for wing foiling, surf foiling and most general foil setups. It comes in two carbon constructions: standard Power Carbon (a strong, well-priced carbon layup) and Power Carbon High Modulus (HM), which uses higher-grade carbon for noticeably more stiffness at a similar weight.

Lengths run from 75cm (a good all-round choice for wing foiling and surf) up to 102cm (light-wind, downwind and heavier riders who need to clear bigger swell). The HM construction is the stiffer, more responsive option and is the right call for advanced riders, heavier weight, or anyone running larger wings.

Honest advice from us

The honest difference between Power Carbon and Power Carbon HM is stiffness under load. If you ride moderate sized wings in normal conditions and don't notice flex in your current setup, save the money and go standard Power Carbon.
