The Foil Drive MHR10 Mid-High Range Propeller is designed for riders who want faster top-end speed while maintaining strong mid-range thrust for efficient cruising. The propeller grows 10% in width to increase blade surface area, without changing the blade diameter. That extra blade area improves surface motoring, grip on the water, and overall efficiency once you are on foil. The trade-off is a slightly slower take-off, due to the larger blade surface.

The improved mid-range thrust also makes this propeller more efficient, which helps save battery life. Think of it like swimming with webbed fingers — the webbing may be slower to get moving, but once you do, your movement is more controlled and efficient.

These propellers are available as an upgrade only, and are mainly for intermediate and advanced riders wanting to fine-tune their ride. Beginners may benefit in some situations, but most will prefer to start with the standard propellers before considering an upgrade.

Propeller sets must not be mixed and matched. Each propeller is individually weighed and balanced as a matching set of three. You can use them in either two blade or three blade configuration.

Expert Advice: The MHR10 is the opposite end of the range to the LR6. Where the LR6 is the low gear for grunt and recovery, the MHR10 is the high gear — pick it if you spend your sessions chasing bumps and swell and want to hold speed for less battery. If you mostly ride messy, windy water and need help getting up and recovering from touchdowns, the LR6 is the better buy. Whichever you choose, run the full balanced set of three and never mix sets, or you will introduce vibration into the motor.
