The ROCKET FREE range was developed specifically for disciplines where the wing or paddle is only used to get going, before being stashed or flagged out. Once on foil, it’s all about flow, glide and freedom.

To meet these demands, the ROCKET FREE DOWNWIND CARBON features increased length for superior glide and acceleration, paired with generous volume to make take-offs easier and more stable—crucial in sports where getting on foil is more technical than traditional wing foiling.

Building on the fundamentals of the MIDLENGTH—natural front/rear balance, stability and glide—the FREE DOWNWIND CARBON takes performance to the next level. Its longer outline delivers even more glide, while a rear step and kicktail help generate speed quickly and soften touchdowns.

A shallow cockpit keeps control locked in underfoot without unnecessary thickness, and the carefully tuned width-to-thickness ratio strikes the perfect balance between stability and fast acceleration, even when underpowered.

Stable, confidence-inspiring design

Compared to the FREE SURF, the FREE DOWNWIND CARBON offers greater stability thanks to increased thickness, a wider nose and bottom surface, and squarer rails. Foot pressure is slightly front-biased, staying true to classic F-ONE board feel.

This makes it an excellent choice for riders who value easy take-offs, predictable control and confidence, even in choppy or challenging conditions.

Ultra-light carbon performance

Built using HD Foam Carbon Composite, this version is exceptionally light and stiff, enhancing manoeuvrability and delivering an ultra-direct connection to the foil. More reactive when pumping, the carbon construction boosts performance while maintaining the same proven shape and riding programme as the bamboo version.
