Size chart
Sooruz boots use US shoe sizing — your UK shoe size is ONE size smaller than US (e.g. UK 9 = US 10).
| US Size | UK Size | EU Size |
|---|---|---|
| US 5 | UK 4 | EU 37 |
| US 6 | UK 5 | EU 38 |
| US 7 | UK 6 | EU 39 |
| US 8 | UK 7 | EU 40/41 |
| US 9 | UK 8 | EU 42 |
| US 10 | UK 9 | EU 43 |
| US 11 | UK 10 | EU 44 |
| US 12 | UK 11 | EU 45 |
Variants in this listing are labelled in US sizes (matching the boot's marking). To find your size, take your usual UK shoe size and add 1. If you're between sizes, sizing UP usually works better for boots — wetsuit boots should feel snug but not tight, and tight neoprene around the toes restricts circulation and reduces warmth. When to wear which thickness
- 2mm Fly Boots — UK water above 16°C (mid-summer only) or for foot protection on rocky shores where warmth isn't the issue.
- 3mm Flow — UK water 12-18°C (spring/summer/autumn). The Flow is thin and sock-like — for surfers who want maximum board-feel, not maximum warmth.
- 5mm Guru — UK water 6-12°C (autumn/winter/early spring). The standard UK cold-water boot — proper warmth, rigid foot hold, designed for serious cold-water sessions.
- 6mm Guru — UK water below 7°C (deep winter). For the coldest sessions when 5mm isn't quite enough.
About Sooruz
Sooruz is a French watersports brand founded in 1999 in La Rochelle, building wetsuits and accessories designed by riders for riders. Innovation and environmental responsibility sit at the core — Sooruz pioneered Oysterprene® neoprene (made using recycled oyster shells and bio-based components), alongside recycled fabrics, water-based glues, and circular initiatives for used wetsuits.
Sooruz makes three boot families: Flow (thin, sock-like, warmer-water surfing where board-feel matters), Guru (rigid, warm, cold-water serious-session boots in 5mm and 6mm), and Fly Boots (rocky-coast foot protection in 2mm). Each is built around the Storm Dry fleece-lined interior that customers know from Sooruz's wetsuit range.
Honest advice from us
Split toe vs Round toe? Split toe gives you independent big-toe movement — better board-feel for surfers, slightly more grip on the deck. Round toe (Product 2 in this range) is warmer (no internal split) and simpler to put on. Both are made to the same Sooruz cold-water spec. The pick is personal preference. Two sizes in stock (US 11, 12 — which is UK 10 and 11). For other sizes, check the older H22 Split Toe variant (Product 5) at a slightly lower price. 01492 588001 for advice.

Sooruz neoprene gloves for cold-water sessions · A Sooruz changing robe for getting in and out of boots in a car park · A wetsuit shampoo for proper aftercare (rinse boots inside and out with fresh water after every session) · A boot-and-glove dry bag for transport
