The flagship of Sooruz's Winter 2026/27 range — the Guru+ Hooded 6/5/4 is the first production wetsuit to launch Sooruz's brand-new U-Zip entry system: a curved chest-zip opening with a wider entrance, better shoulder flex, and significantly less flushing on duck dives than a straight chest zip.
Built with the new Organic Oysterprene Ö8 foam (made from natural rubber and oyster shells) and lined edge-to-edge with Storm-Dry fleece. Properly warm, properly flexible — a serious cold-water hooded suit.

About the U-Zip
The U-Zip is Sooruz's new wetsuit entry system, launching on the Guru+ Hooded 6/5/4 for Winter 26/27 and rolling out across the Guru range (and Fighter Pro) for Spring 27. The curved zip profile gives you:
- A wider mouth to climb into — easier to get in and out of, especially with a hood
- A curved path across the chest, which flexes better during paddling than a straight zip
- A tighter seal when closed, so less flushing when you take water over you on duck dives or wipeouts
Sooruz's own team now say it's their preferred entry system going forward. We think it'll become the premium standard.
About Sooruz
Sooruz is a French watersports brand founded in 1999 in La Rochelle. They were one of the first to put sustainability at the centre of wetsuit design — Oysterprene uses oyster-shell powder as a limestone replacement in the neoprene foam, cutting the petroleum content substantially. 25+ years in, their suits are worn and tested by a team of serious European surfers and wind-sport athletes.

If you surf through UK winter and want the warmest, most flexible hooded suit Sooruz make — this is it, and the U-Zip is a meaningful upgrade over the previous CZ Guru+ Hooded. Our existing Guru+ Hooded 6/5/4 CZ is the previous version at a similar spec but with the older straight chest zip; if you want to save money and don't care about the entry system, that older model is still a great suit.
