Featuring the iconic pin-tail design, the Ace Foil is designed for fast take offs and easy paddling in downwind conditions. Its teardrop outline and flat deck provide a stable, connected feel over the foil. The Ace Foil range also excels as a crossover board for both wing and paddle performance. 3 sizes from 100 L to 140 L in Starboard's Carbon D2 construction.

A teardrop shape paired with a flat deck delivers even volume distribution for even float, user-friendly handling and stability.

Longer and narrower profiles

Extended length and reduced width boost acceleration onto foil with minimal drag.

Rounder under-nose

Rounder and fuller rails under the nose give additional stability while ensuring smoother take-off and improved control in ocean conditions.

Optimised 14" foil box

The 14" foil box is lightweight while offering versatile foil positioning for various foil brands.

Signature pin tail

Ensures excellent tracking by drawing water together for a smooth, efficient take-off and touchdown. The pin tail also gives the board smooth lift-off and minimal drag when paddling.

Boxy rails and parallel midsection

Boxy rails reduce overall width without sacrificing stability, while a parallel midsection provides predictable, straight-line tracking.

Refined rocker line

Fine-tuned for speed and rapid recovery, the rocker line gives you fast acceleration, early take-off and smooth landings.

8'1" × 22.5" / 140 L

Rider weight: wing foil 110 kg, SUP foil 100 kg. A fantastic size for larger riders, this model offers a great blend of stability and speed with 140 L of volume.

7'7" × 21" / 120 L

Rider weight: wing foil 100 kg, SUP foil 90 kg. Offering both speed and fast take offs, this 120 L version is Starboard's most popular size for downwind riders wanting a blend of ease and speed.

7'3" × 19.5" / 100 L

Rider weight: wing foil 90 kg, SUP foil 85 kg. A manoeuvrable, fast and versatile board, the 100 L Ace is great not only in downwinders but also as a SUP foil surf and light-wind wing model.

Construction

Carbon D2 — new ultra-lightweight performance

Carbon D2 is the lightest performance construction in the range, designed to maximise responsiveness while minimising weight. The reduced weight helps riders accelerate quickly, lift onto foil earlier and maintain efficient flight. A custom process using traditional epoxy lamination instead of expanding epoxy resin reduces weight while maintaining structural strength. Additional carbon reinforcements increase stiffness in key load areas while keeping the board light and responsive.
