The Power Blade is AXIS's purpose-built downwind SUP foil paddle — full carbon, lightweight, and shaped for the high-cadence stroke that gets a downwind board up onto the foil. Standard SUP paddles aren't built for the explosive bursts of paddling that downwind paddle-ups demand; the Power Blade is.

Two blade sizes are available. The 70 is the smaller, lower-effort blade — the choice for lighter riders or higher-cadence paddling. The 80 has more surface area for heavier riders or anyone who wants a more powerful catch per stroke.

Paddle size is mostly about your weight, your stroke style, and the size of your downwind board. If you're paddling a 130L Frank Mako and you're 90kg, the 80 is the right call. Lighter riders or smaller boards — the 70 will feel cleaner. Call 01492 588001 if you'd like to talk it through.
