If you're a one-board household and want the most versatile size, this is the right pick. Beginners get on with it because of the width, intermediates appreciate the glide. Heavier paddlers (95 kg+) might prefer the Titan 3 (11'11" x 34"). Lighter paddlers wanting more agility — go with the Lunar 3.
