Description
The Manera Magma 5/4/3 is Manera's warmest non-hooded wetsuit — built for cold, windy days and for keeping you in the water all season long. All the heat of the Magma range, with the freedom of an open neck.
Loved for its warmth, comfort and performance, the new Magma stays true to its essence while taking a major leap forward in sustainability: the range now uses OCENA®, a neoprene-free, bio-based foam. It's made with natural rubber from FSC-certified forests close to Manera's South-East Asia factory, enriched with oyster shell powder and plant-based oil — the same warmth, flex, comfort and durability, with a drastically reduced environmental impact.
Inside, the Magma+ fleece works as both insulator and heat generator, and dries around 30% faster than a standard fleece. You'll never have to pull on a cold, wet suit again.
Key features
- OCENA® foam — neoprene-free, bio-based material using natural rubber, oyster shell powder and plant-based oils.
- Magma+ fleece — effective insulator and heat generator, roughly 10% lighter and 30% faster drying than a standard fleece, and manufactured to stay flexible so even a thick suit remains stretchy.
- Squareflex jersey — new ultra-stretch jersey placed in the high-mobility zones around the shoulders and arms.
- 5/4/3mm construction — winter warmth without a hood.
- Front-zip entry — fast, easy entry and maximum comfort while riding.
- Magma seam tapes — seams taped on the inside to improve waterproofing, completely covering each designated seam to create a watertight barrier and reinforce high-stress areas.
- Key pocket and water strainer — one key pocket with elastic attachment loops inside the suit under the front zip, plus perforated neoprene at calf height that drains water out of the leg instantly.
Designed in 3D
Where the industry standard is to develop 2D patterns and try to fit them onto a 3D body, Manera does the opposite: wetsuits are modelled in 3D on computer, then converted into a precise 2D pattern for the factory. The result is a natural, second-skin fit that makes Manera suits stand out.

Strategic structure
Some areas are very sensitive to friction, tension and tearing, so every Manera wetsuit is designed to a demanding brief: seams kept out of tension areas to maximise flexibility and strength; seams stretched vertically rather than sideways; seams removed from friction areas to avoid rash and increase stretch; and reinforcement placed exactly where it's needed.

S/M/L are the regular fits. ST, MT and LS are taller or shorter builds of the same chest size — if you're between sizes, these are usually the answer.
