The Shark SUPs Venture Adventure Tandem 15'2 x 36" x 6" is designed for paddling together OR for solo paddlers carrying substantial gear on serious adventure days. Two distinct propositions, one board:

• As a tandem, the 36" width gives unrivalled stability for two paddlers — partner, child, family member, friend. Tandem paddling is a real way to share the experience, and the Tandem is properly built for it.
• As a solo board with gear, the 36" width and 15'2" length give space and stability for ambitious adventure days — multi-day touring with cargo, fishing trips with rod holders and tackle, paddle-camping with full kit, or any expedition where you need a board that handles weight without compromise.

Construction

The Venture Adventure Tandem is built using high-density 1000-denier double-laminated knitted drop stitch with a high-performance welded triple rail edge. The 6" thickness ensures excellent buoyancy — properly important on a tandem where two riders' combined weight or one rider plus heavy cargo would sink a thinner board too low at the waterline.

Fin & cargo system

Smart-Tec click-in fin (US fin compatible). The Tandem includes Shark's multi-use D-ring configuration — kayak seat attachment points (front, middle, back) for switching to seated configuration on long days, plus expandable cargo area for serious gear loads. M6-threaded accessories mount on the front-right cargo point for trackers, GPS devices, GoPros, or cameras.

Multiple carry handles for two-person carrying to the water.

Honest advice from us

Tandem boards are genuinely different from regular SUPs — they reward coordination between paddlers, they catch wind differently, and they're slower to turn than a 12'6 or 14'0. If you're buying primarily for tandem, this is the right board. If you're buying primarily for solo with gear, this also works — but you might also consider the Venture Plus 14'0 x 32" x 6" (a Venture Plus board) which is similar capacity in a slightly smaller, more manoeuvrable package.
