Product features

Bottom shape

A slight nose concave quickly feeds into a double concave for stable yet fast nose riding. The double concave deepens through the midsection, loosening up for rail-to-rail transitions and funneling the water to a flat vee out of the tail for radical turns.

Outline

The nose outline maintains width for stability during nose riding and forgiveness during turns. The parallel midsection maximizes down-the-line speed, while the pulled-in tail enhances maneuverability. The 9'1" features a diamond tail, while the 9'3" has a rounded pin tail.

Rails

Thin nose rails lock in for nose riding and reduce swing weight in turns. Round, fuller midsection rails carry speed in small and big surf. Rails taper towards the tail for maximum grip and responsive, snappy turns, unlocking high-performance.

Sizes

The 9'3"x22.5" Longboard offers a loose feel in turns with powerful control on the lip, aided by its v-concave mid-section for speed and a nose single concave for stable hanging ten.

The 9'1"x22" Longboard excels in 1ft to 6ft waves, delivering fast down-the-line surfing and powerful, loose turns off the wave's crest.

Fin set up

Both models feature a 2+1 fin setup. FCS 2 side fin boxes at a 5-degree angle provide lift and control, complemented by a 10" US center box for stability. Use the 2+1 setup for performance longboard surfing, or switch to a larger single fin for classic longboard riding.

Board sock

Reduces paper waste and protects your board from dust, scratches, and UV damage. Made of stretchable polyester, it fits various board shapes and has a secure drawstring closure.

9'3" × 22.5"

The Longboard has a loose feel in turns but is powerful and controlled on the lip. Powerful down the line speed is achieved with the v-concave in the mid-section of the board and hanging ten is more comfortable than ever thanks to the single concave in the nose when hanging ten.

9'1" × 22"

9'1" × 22" is a super high-performance longboard built to perform in waves from 1ft to 6ft and offers fast down-the-line surfing, as well as the ability to turn the board very loosely and powerfully off the top of the waves.

Blue Carbon Sandwich

Lightest and strongest

• Based on the world proven and award-winning Carbon Sandwich construction, the Blue Carbon Sandwich features a full PVC wrap and the lightest 100g biaxial carbon fiber in the market.
• Highest grade 100g biax carbon wraps the full deck, rail and bottom.
• Thin high-density PVC wraps the entire board with an extra-strong PET standing reinforcement reduces resin uptake and increases the overall strength.
• The sensational lightweight increases carving ability and acceleration.

Limited Series

Timeless look, solid performance

• Twin T-stringers made from glass fibre are positioned on the deck and bottom of the board close to the rail, providing a massive increase in the overall strength against total breakage in surf.
• An additional wide layer of 200g glass wraps the rails for higher strength against paddle impact and further reinforces the overall strength against buckling.
• The deck features reinforced biaxial glass and Australian pine, to resist heel dents and impact from the standing area.
• The nose and tail are wrapped in multiple layers of glass fiber for further strength on these impact zones.

The Longboard Surf is a different beast from the Spice or Pro — it's a classic longboard shape, built for cruising, walking the board, hanging ten, and linking smooth turns rather than chasing radical short-board manoeuvres.

Which size? The 9'1" × 22" is more performance-oriented with a diamond tail — looser through turns, lively in smaller waves (1–6 ft). The 9'3" × 22.5" has a rounded pin tail, slightly more stable for nose-riding and slightly more drawn-out through turns. Both are versatile enough that the choice is more about your preferred feel than your skill level.

Which construction? Blue Carbon Sandwich is the premium choice — significantly lighter, stiffer, with the full Carbon Sandwich tech. Limited Series is the same shape with a more traditional fibreglass build and a meaningfully lower price (£839 for either Limited Series size makes this the best-value entry into Starboard's surf hardboard range).
