Choosing the Right Board for Your Skill Level
For Beginners: If you're a beginner, it's recommended to choose a board with a volume that is at least 40L greater than your weight. For example, if you weigh 70kg and are just starting to learn the sport, consider the ROCKET WING ASC 110L or the ROCKET WING Bamboo 105L. In general, beginners should aim for boards with a volume of 100L and above to ensure stability and ease of learning.
For Intermediate Riders: Once you've gained confidence in handling your wing and foil, you can roughly match the volume of your board to your weight. For instance, if you weigh 60kg, most of our ROCKET WING board range will be suitable for your needs, depending on your specific program and your choice of construction. These boards offer a balance of confidence and control, allowing you to continually progress in the sport.
For Advanced Riders: As you advance in your skills, reducing the volume of your board becomes beneficial, providing increased maneuverability, responsiveness, and speed. The possibilities become limitless as you fine-tune your equipment to match your expertise.
